November 14th. Brian gets a bigger room.

So with Jason moving out, there was an empty room up for grabs. Ian had first dibs on Jason's old room, and so he moved in there while I was at work. I took Ian's room, as I thought that it would be nice to move away from the traffic, and get some natural light in the room (there's a big glass sliding doors in the big rooms).

I have just realized something, as I sit here clicking away into the night on my keyboard. You can hear every single sound the other person makes in their room. If I didn't know better, I would think that there wasn't even a wall between us. That means no music for me after Ian goes to sleep...well, it would mean that if I gave a damn. Now where's that dixieland jazz CD I brought?

Well, here it is. Empty once more. Well, not exactly empty, as Jason forgot to take his inflatable globe.

My closet is empty. You see that dark patch on the floor of the closet? My books or something must have been there, because that's the only place the dust didn't get to.

So here it is. The new room. It's amazing how much crap I had in that other room. I just never noticed it until I tried to move it. The rooms are only about 12 feet away, but the move took me a good half hour or so.

This room doesn't have a closet, which in effect, makes it the exact same size as the other room I lived in. How do you like that? I moved from one veal pen to another.

I have to cram everything into the shelves they provided me with.

Wow, I have cubby holes! I haven't had a cubby hole since I was in kindergarten.

Just thinking about things. I will be doing this all over again in less than a month. What a bother. Click the photo to see what I am staring at.

Wishing she was here and drinking hot tea out of a cup she made me. It has something written on it, and it's rather witty. I love it. =).

It's crazy what you can lose in a room the size of a postage stamp. I just found my gloves today, as I was moving. Thank goodness, it's getting cold now.

Ian moved the TV into my old room, just so that he could get some sleep at night if I choose to watch a movie. Problem is that there is no furniture in that room, so i don't have anything to sit on. I'll take this chair in, I guess, but it's not all that comfortable. I'll see if I can get my hands on a big bean bag or something.

"Beat" Takeshi Kitano. I am not sure where his nick name comes from, but apparently he is a comedian who makes ultra-violent gangster flicks. To put this man's creative range into perspective, just imagine Bill Cosby as the lead in A Clockwork Orange. Maybe the closest person we have to him would be Tom Hanks, that man does everything from sappy chick flicks to real movies like Saving Private Ryan.

This is Kitano's newest movie and it comes highly recommended from a friend of mine back home (Tariq). I have watched only about 15 minutes of it and I can't really follow the plot, since everything is in Japanese. There have been two murders already, so I suppose it's starting off ok.

Thai chicken with noodles (of course) and veggies. This is the first time I have actually tried to make something half-way decent to eat. Let's hope it's good.

Whoa, it's not good. A little too spicy, this chicken. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but I am crying.

Sorry for the dry update, folks. I just don't feel funny today.
