March 20th, 2002. Whoa momma.

It's 4am and I am awake. Just put down the phone with Fran and now I have nothing to do. It's kinda cool being up when most of this side of the Earth is sleeping. Peaceful. The cherry blossoms are out already this year, due to the extraordinarily warm winter we had here. If I weren't such a lazy bastard, I'd head out and get some night shots of the blossoms and the empty streets. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. This area is actually quite nice when there aren't any people around to muck up the shot.
So anyway, a while back, Fran suggested that I put a counter on this site to see how many people visit it. I declined, mainly because I would be terribly disappointed if it read "3" But this bandwidth thing piqued my curiosity and I found that Tripod offers a (somewhat limited) counter, so I decided to check it out. And man, was I surprised at what I saw!
Look near the bottom of the picture. I never thought so many people would take an interest in what I had to say. I can almost hear that pit filling up... Thanks. I feel all warm and squishy inside. I'd better finish up and get back to bed before I get all emotional and everything explodes into one big, slobbery mess. |
