Ok, so you're digging this website so much that you just have to know how I made it. My friend Tariq got me interested in making websites a couple of years back, just at the end of highschool or so. Come to think of it, he was the one who really got the ball rolling. He sent me a link to an online HTML tutorial (I think it was called Dave's HTML Tutorial or something like that) and I was off. I've gotten pretty lazy now, compared to when I first started. I used to do everything on Notepad, but that was extremely tedious and time consuming. Since then, I have wisened up and now use Dreamweaver. As a result, the time I spent creating this site was about half of what I would have spent if I had done all the HTML by hand. I still tweak everything with Notepad, but that's just because I don't know how to use Dreamweaver fully yet.

I made this site for a 1024x768 resolution and a browser text setting of medium. If you have different settings, the spacing may look strange, but whatever.


The Hardware

I suppose that the most important little piece of equipment I have is my digital camera. It's a Fuji Film FinePix 4700. I got it back in Toronto at Future Shop.

There are a lot of shots of me in this site. My vanity would be impossible if it were not for my little tripod. Thank you for taking my narcissism to a whole new level.

I would be spending even more money at internet cafes if it wasn't for my trusty laptop. The smaller screen and condensed keyboard scheme took some getting used to, but it's not so bad once you get accustomed to it. In fact, I think that I like it more than my desktop right now.

I have a HyperData MediaGo 2100. C700 MHz, 128 MB ram, 10 Gig HD. A Hyper-what? Yeah. I have never heard of the brand either, but it hasn't given any me any problems, so I am happy with it.
 

I bought this webcam so that I could use Net Meeting or something with my girlfriend at home. Unfortunately, internet access at home is a little harder than I thought it would be to get. So far, I only use my web cam to take pictures of my digital camera, or to take pictures of me, if I am too lazy to hook up the digicam.

My hand. I use Rosie Palm and her five sisters to tap out these wonderful masterpieces of writing. I think that I could be a hand model. I just have to stay away from low-talkers and hot irons.


The Software

Webcam32 6.0 is the power behind my webcam.
 
I use Macromedia's Dreamweaver UltraDev to make these nifty pages, not notepad.
This is Cool player. I use it to play my MP3's while I write.
