Airport musings
Got up in the morning, said goodbye
to James and thanked him for taking me in for the past few days.
You want friends all over the world in exotic places so that you
can visit them, but that means they aren't at home with you, which
is probably not quite worth it. Can't have it both ways, unfortunately.

Still a while before boarding.
Normally, this is where sit and think about where I've just been,
what I'd seen and done, and more importantly, where I'm going next.
But by this time, I was feeling pretty burnt out already and was
just happy to sit on the comfy seats in relative seclusion and eat
overpriced snacks from the surrounding stores.
I have Yumi and Ikuyo awaiting
me in Osaka, should be quite the welcoming committee. It's at this
point that I realize Japan needs to be its own trip. I need all
my senses, but I puked out most of them back in the alleyway beside
the karaoke joint we went to on my second night here.
